My program aims to help students:
Lessons focus on English discipline (Hunt Seat, Equitation, Hunter jumping, Dressage level I), ground training and horsemanship. Lessons are technical, fun and challenging to riders of all levels. Horsemanship teaching is woven into the riding lessons and offered separately. This enables students to have an opportunity to learn the entire skill of being a horse person.
I offer an introductory consultation. This is a 45 minute session, free of charge, to show you the riding facility, meet the horses and to learn about my teaching philosophy.
Please wear closed toe shoes with a heel and pants. Riding helmets provided.
Age requirement: 9 years and up
Riders receive one-on-one instruction for 1 hour. 30 minute private lessons are also available.
Two riders receive instruction for 1 hour, each rider rides their own lesson horse.
A 10 week summer program which includes 1 hour a week of riding and free admission to a 4 hour horse clinic offered in August.
This is a great way to enjoy riding without making a year-round commitment. Offered weekly in June, July and August on weekday mornings. Rain dates may be offered as make up to weather cancellations.
Drop in riding lessons are also available. Contact in advance to book a lesson.
We do not provide guided trail riding to the general public.
